Joni J. Ogle

Joni J. Ogle practices in the areas of trial and appellate law. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, she clerked at the Second Court of Appeals in Fort Worth for The Honorable Terrie Livingston.
Since joining the firm, Joni has been involved in the representation of the firm's oil and gas clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to local, privately-held companies, in a wide variety of litigation in state trial and appellate courts. She has been a member of the trial and appellate teams for cases involving contract disputes relating to oil and gas leases that involve the alleged underpayment of royalties, gas purchasing agreements that relate to the interpretation of proceeds and market value leases, and claims regarding breach of implied covenants in oil and gas leases. Joni participates in defending companies against tortious interference and business disparagement claims. She has also been involved in transactions relating to the exploration, development, and operation of oil and gas properties in the Permian Basin and Eastern New Mexico.
